A band that started in the autumn of '96.

Marc and Gavin recruited two full-time members, tried out various people, and finally head-hunted John and welcomed Paul. They agreed to give it a year and see what happened.

It turned out to be a hell of a band. Momentum, ever-expanding audiences, festival slots, a UK tour and a prime-time TV appearance — all as a fiercely independent Glasgow four-piece.
